Cancellation & Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing to stay at Healing Path Bed & Breakfast & Wellness Spa.
We understand plans can change, and we strive to offer clarity and fairness in our policies.

To reserve your room, a deposit equal to one night’s stay is required at booking.

Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival will receive a full refund of the deposit.

Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will forfeit the deposit; no refund will be provided.

If you shorten your stay or depart early, the full amount for the originally booked stay will be charged; no refund will be given.

If we are able to re-book your room for the same dates after your cancellation, we will refund you the amount equal to the new booking revenue we receive, minus a $25 processing fee.

In the event of unforeseeable emergencies (e.g., medical, travel restrictions) please contact us directly; we will evaluate exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
We encourage our guests to consider travel insurance to protect against loss due to unexpected cancellation.

Minimum Night Stay Policy
To ensure a peaceful, high-quality experience for all guests, Healing Path Bed & Breakfast observes the following minimum night stay requirements:
Weekends (Friday–Sunday): A 2-night minimum stay is required.
Holiday Weekends & Local Festivals (including Victorian Christmas, Nevada City Film Festival, 4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day):
3-night minimum stay is required.
Single-Night Exceptions:
If a one-night gap remains between bookings, single-night stays may be offered by request and subject to availability.
Extended Stays:
For stays of 7 nights or more, guests receive priority booking and concierge support including ride to and from airport (Sacramento International Airport).
Liability & Safety Disclaimer
Guests agree to use all facilities—including the Jacuzzi, cold plunge, sauna, sunbed, trails, gardens, and private meditation spaces—at their own risk. Healing Path is not liable for injuries resulting from misuse of equipment or failure to follow posted guidelines.
Guests assume responsibility for personal items; the property is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
Individuals with medical conditions (including cardiovascular issues, pregnancy, heat sensitivity, respiratory issues, or implanted devices) should consult a doctor before using saunas, sunbeds, or hot/cold therapies.
Healing Path is not liable for adverse reactions to heat, cold, or light therapies.
Use of the sunbed, sauna, and plunge is restricted to guests 18 years or older unless accompanied by a legal guardian.
Photography & Noise Policy
Professional photography or filming requires prior approval.
Quiet hours are 9 PM–8 AM to protect the peaceful environment and neighboring rooms.
Code of Conduct / Respect Policy
Guests must treat staff, other guests, and Healing Path property with respect.
Harassment, aggressive behavior, excessive intoxication, or disruptive conduct may result in removal without refund.
Smoking of tobacco is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property except while sitting in your own personal vehicle.
Illegal drug use is prohibited.
Damage & Extra Cleaning Fees
Fees may be charged for damaged furniture, linens, appliances, or décor.
Unusually excessive cleaning (e.g., food spills, misuse of kitchenettes, bodily fluids, glitter or paints, etc.) may incur a $150–$300 cleaning fee.
You may use open flames, candles, incense, or personal cooking appliances at your own discretion; however, any damage caused will be the guest’s responsibility and will incur added charges.
Only property-provided outdoor fire features may be used.
Pets & Service Animal Policy
Only legally recognized service animals are permitted. Emotional-support animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and may be restricted. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by service animals.
Accessibility Statement
Healing Path strives to be accessible. If any part of the property poses challenges, guests are invited to contact us directly so we can try to accommodate their needs.
Privacy & Data Policy
Guest information is private and will not be sold or shared.
Email addresses may be used for communication and marketing unless guests opt out.
Environmental & Sustainability Notice
Towels and linens are refreshed only by guest request to reduce water usage.
Guests agree to honor property-specific sustainability guidelines (e.g., composting instructions, recycling).
Minimum Age
Individuals under 18 may not stay without a parent or legal guardian.
Firearms & Weapons
Firearms, weapons, or explosive materials are prohibited on the property.
Property Access
Only registered guests may use the Healing Spa and amenities unless prior arrangements are made.
Events & Gatherings
Parties, gatherings, or commercial use require written approval.
Unauthorized events may incur additional fees or immediate eviction.
Health-Related Disclosures
Healing Path does not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical or psychological condition.
All wellness services are optional, educational, and meant for relaxation.
